This is real! It’s currently 604.9m tall and will eventually reach 818m making it the tallest man-made structure in the world superseding Taipei 101 in Taiwan which stands at 509m.

The building will be completed next year. The photo below is the building’s current state 05-02-2008: (Floor: 159, Height: 604.9m) the skyscrapers below the Burj Dubai used to look tall.

The elevator travels at 18m/sec or 40Mph so it should only take approximately 45 seconds to get to the top if you catch the express.
